Roman Lappat meeting Scott aka the Miniac in a two day private lesson! Such a great time!

"I have the great privilege of getting trained one on one with @romanlappat.miniatureart . We're currently in day two of the private coaching and the wheels are fully in motion. I'm painting a beautiful bust from @mindwork.studio called the 'Ghoul Queen'. We're working on creating a very tangible atmosphere to the piece. It's great to hear not only Roman's thoughts on this from a high level perspective, but also the very practical steps to achieve this. I am filming stuff for a video, but I have no idea what the video will be about. I'm trying to fully absorb the knowledge to best utilize this time!"

Last week I had the absolute pleasure to sit down with Scott aka the @miniacal_ for a two day private coaching. I'd like to start that it was a wonderful experience in learning from and with eachother. We tackled a wide variety of topics from advanced color theory over speedpainting to atmospheric blending techniques. I can say it was a true joy to get to know this amazing human being in person and I enjoyed every minute of it as a friend and also from the teacher's perspective. Thank you for teaching me too and spending the good times together, Scott.
