Students from Australia travel to Roman Lappat to learn on his miniature painting workshops

"Attended a 2 day workshop with @romanlappat.miniatureart learning about advanced colour theory, atmosphere and incorporating it into a piece and general good painting advice/feedback.
I learnt so much from Roman over the course of the 2 days and the theory gave me a better understanding of learning over the past 2-3 years in atmosphere and colour theory. Thanks for that Roman!
Would highly recommend attending a workshop or lesson from Roman if you get the chance.
We worked on a mini bust and I chose the @blackcrowminiatures Jack piece. Went with a cold/night time environment and painted this using only primary colours, black and white with a lot of mixing whilst incorporating the environment colour. Was a fun exercise!!

Last week I had the pleasure to teach Jared @jc_painting101 from Australia in a two day private coaching. For me it was important to manifest some of Jared's fabolous technical understanding of painting with atmopsheric influances, explanation in and usage of advanced color theory plus putting all this into an efficent workflow.
