"I decided to do private coaching with Roman because I wanted to expand my experience in some areas. When our appointment was set, Roman asked me to think of a topic and considering what I could learn from him, that wasn't an easy decision. Unfortunately, it's only two days that go by way too quickly ;) Roman took a lot of time to think about a topic based on my ideas. The choice fell on the topic of atmosphere, i.e. how to atmospherically present a figure, the overall understanding of light and shadow and the general understanding of skin and metal. What was particularly important to me was how to create a realistic painting. The Shennay bust was particularly suitable for covering all the themes. Before the bust had to show its colors, I first learned a lot of theory. But it wasn't too much that you would be overwhelmed. We also looked at and analyzed a lot of pictures. This gave me a general understanding of light, shadow and atmosphere. A few exercises afterwards helped me a lot to consolidate the theory. I particularly enjoyed mixing the colors and developing an understanding of how to represent colors in cool, warm and shady environments. Roman gave a clear line throughout the coaching, but always left plenty of room for his own creativity. Above all, Roman always explained everything to me so well that I understood it straight away and was able to implement it. Private coaching has brought me a lot forward and broadened my horizons. It was a lot of fun and very inspiring. An experience that I can only recommend to everyone :)"
