Roman Lappat Miniature Art: Terms & Condition – Effective as of 1/04/2025
Welcome to the Astronaut Challenge 2025 Terms & Conditions agreement. For purposes of this agreement, “challenge” or "competition" refers to all services provided as part of the Astronaut Challenge 2025, including but not limited to the website and associated social media, which can be accessed at www.romanlappat.com, and “company” refers to the event organisers Roman Lappat Miniature Art.
Please review the following terms carefully. By signing up to the competition and entering competition pieces, you signify your agreement to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety, you may not attend the competition.
REGISTRATION & ENTRY FORM
1. Entry Form Submission
1.1 Participants are required to fill out the entry form to participate in the competition.
1.2 There are three different categories: Standard, Master and Out of Competition. Enter as you see fit. The judges panel is allowed to move an entry, yet only if the outcome is a positive one for the entrant. You can enter as many entries as you like. There is no entry limit. When creativity strikes you, you should play more with the astronaut.
1.3 Mentioning the sculptor of additional pieces/miniatures used in your project in the entry form is optional. However, participants are encouraged to credit the sculptor if applicable. The sculptor of the tiny astronauts is "Ramona Pügerl".
2. Deadline and Late Entries
2.1 The entry form will remain open for submissions and edits until February 28, 2026 at 11:59 PM CET. (Central European Time).
2.2 No entries or edits will be accepted through the entry form after the deadline.
2.3 Participants wishing to enter or make changes to their submissions after the deadline must contact the organisers directly. It is not garantueed that the organisers must allow it.
2.4 The entry information and images can be updated until the entry deadline closes. This will also reflect in the online gallery.
3. Image Uploads
3.1 Participants are required to upload images of their entries. These images will be used in the competition’s online gallery.
3.2 Uploaded images may also be featured on our social media platforms and in a physical or digital book or video commemorating the event.
3.3 By uploading images, participants grant the organisers the right to use these images for promotional purposes related to the competition without any further consent or compensation.
4. Rules of Submissions
4.1 By submitting entries, all participants in the competition confirm that the entries are solely painted by the participant stated in the entry form. If this is in any way not true, the company is free to disqualify all entries by the participant at the company’s sole discretion.
JUDGING
The judge’s decisions are final, and the company is under no obligation to provide feedback or reasoning about the entry’s award level or lack thereof.
ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR/BREACH OF CONTRACT
If any participant in the competition is not able to fulfil the requirements stated in the Terms & Conditions, or if the participant in any way behaves abusively, the company is free to disqualify all entries by the participant at the company’s sole discretion.
